Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, has denied being hospitalized in Germany for a terminal ailment or cosmetic surgery procedure.
Speaking with State House Correspondence, she said :
“Those that are saying that anybody that goes to (the presidential) villa, that person will die, they mention Abacha, they mention Stella Obasanjo…
They even wrote some numbers …I don’t even know that hospital they are talking about…I do not have any terminal illness or cosmetic surgery.”
While denying being hospitalized, she however failed to tell the reporters what she had been doing in Germany for the past 6 weeks.
One thing is certain, her sojourn in Germany is at tax payer’s expense, and Nigerians deserve to know how their taxes were spent.
