Former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Nike Oshinowo, has said that she no longer go to church on Sundays because worshippers tend to focus their attention on her rather than the “author and finisher of their faith”.
In a quote credited to the former beauty queen, who said she would rather prefer to stay in her house and worship quietly than be in the middle of religious pervs who focus their gaze on her anytime she is in church.
“Anytime I enter a church people are always quick to notice me and some may not even concentrate on the service anymore as I always become the center of attraction in such cases. And this also distracts me. Therefore I have preferred to stay at home and worship God, rather than to keep causing unnecessary distractions in church.”
