Legendary singer and actress Whitney Houston was pronounced dead on Saturday after she was found unresponsive in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, California.
Whitney, 48, had been battling drug and alcohol abuse over a decade and she was suspected to have died of drug overdose.
Police authorities said that no criminal intent was suspected, but an autopsy will be performed on her body next week to determine the real cause of her death.
She is survived by an aged mother and a daughter, Bobbi Kristina, from her marriage to Bobby Brown.
So sad, may her soul rest in peace.

Very sad news, all we can do now is pray for God to rest her soul, and please pray for her daughter and family. I heard and read where her daughter has been seen doing coke. We have lost so many celebrities over many years due to drugs. Dr. Drew can only help those that want help, i wished that she had gone to him. HE’s good at what he does, but people have to want help. It is what it is, I never blamed Bobby Brown, i told people over the years it was not him. People make choices and it is what it is. RIP Whitney.
May her soul rest in perfect peace, AMEN
