Recently a picture was circulating round the blogsville that Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie has gone blind due an injury she sustained on a movie set( if you missed it click here).  Her publicist released a press statement to debunk the story, but some doubting Thomases still believed the actress indeed has gone blind and secretly flew out to Australia for treatment.

Few days ago, MJ-O attended the wedding reception of a fellow Nollywood star Chinedu Ikedieze looking gorgeous with no traces of blindness (at least nobody is leading her, and neither is she holding a walking stick). Fellow artistes were overheard throwing banters at MJ-O asking her about the unfortunate incident, but she responded…”as you can see for yourself I am not blind, it’s just a movie role make-real”.

So to you doubting Thomases, MJ-O is not blind neither has she gone to Australia for any medical treatment.
