IBB
It’s a case of “twice beaten, twice shy” for the former Nigeria’s military president, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, as he has formally withdrawn from contesting for office of the president in 2011 general elections.
In a letter he wrote to the chairman of People Democratic Party (PDP) and signed personally by him, IBB based his decision on the outcome of the consensus arrangement which he had with three other northern presidential aspirants.
The Northern Political Leaders Forum (NPLF), led by former finance minister, Adamu Ciroma, had selected former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar as the consensus candidate.
PDP’s Chairman, Dr. Okwezilie Nwodo has since acknowledged receipt of the letter, wished the former president well and also thanked him for his maturity.
So he was really serious about running again? Does he think he did a good job the first time? Long hissssss.
Baba-n-were what did he forget in Aso rock that he’s going to take?
Foolish man.
